Aside from the last week or so, the weather around here in New England has been pretty good. 
I’ve been to some dope shows and eaten at some nice restaurants, enjoying after dinner walks around the block with the fam and gotten to hang by the lake. Can’t complain much lately. Hope you’re able to enjoy the company of loved ones or time off work. Salute.

This Friday is Bandcamp Friday and if you may be somehow unaware, this is a day when Bandcamp waives all fees and any $$ from music or merch purchased goes directly to the artist. It is essential for indy artists who rely on the support of fans so consider purchasing something that day from any indy artist you are into. As an aside, many of us also have our own websites, and purchasing direct is always the best way to support any artists. *clears throat*

I want to let you all know about some dope music before I get to my own news, so check it:

My brother Leedz dropped his long awaited new album Hard to Learn and it’s a wall to wall banger. If you’re into alternative hip hop with boom bap flavor this one is for you.

Features a load of dope MCs; Leedz did a phenomenal job of putting it all together. A lot of the production work was done by The Arcitype, who is my go-to for all things mixing and recording. He's an extremely talented musician and has a load of serious credits under his belt. I always learn something new when I'm with him. 
We did some co-production on the History is Watching track and for the remix we re-worked some of the elements and got Dua from Bad Rabbits to wild out on the hook. Big shout to that dude. I'm really impressed with how it all came out (i like it better than the orig).
A few personal faves from the album: Battle Tested feat. Napoleon Da Legend, Lateb, Freddie Black, Bonnie Stone, Weapon E.S.P, Raw Deff, & DJ Slipwax, Friends of Eddie Leedz feat. Edo G., Mann Terror and Big Shug (what a legendary Boston line up) and the title track Hard to Learn feat. Skyzoo, Torae, Reks and Slipwax. As for me and Al-J, we are dropping another single this Friday (7th August). This one is called Next Time featuring Soulrac. I recently met the dude and he's a cool cat all around. We got to build on some stuff and I'm looking forward to working with him again. Al-J had the idea to link up with his SpitSlam labelmate for this joint. Featuring a driving piano sample over a hard boom bap foundation, the two veteran mc's are putting devils on notice because Next Time they're up and they aren't letting that bullsh_t fly.

In other news we just shot a video for Exit Wounds, I helped the brothers Blak Madeen with a feature from one of the above mentioned Boston legends and I’ve been working on a few things outside of my usual zone, so stay tuned for more that stuff later.
