kane major began making beats in the late 90s on an Ensoniq ASR-10. A love of music was instilled at an early age from his parents record collection and frequent live concerts. 

He later co-founded the group Soular Prominence (formerly Soular Winds) with Yusuf Abdul-Mateen & Al-J of Blak Madeen, B-One, and DJ Emoh Betta. The group performed all around New England opening up for Lupe Fiasco, Kool Keith, Murs, U-God (Wu Tang Clan), and more. 

Influenced heavily by mid 90's Hip Hop artists and fashion like De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang, baggy jeans, Clarks, and more; kane's music is a tribute to the culture he grew up listening to.
