Peace and blessings to everyone out there that happens to read this. I decided to write some things down instead of doomscroll for my lunch break so if you’re looking for a break from - things - read on.

I have been hard at work (big pun intended - I'm not a director, I just film a lot) finishing up our latest vid - this time for Put In Work ft. DJ Cheese. I met up with Al one morning a couple weeks back and filmed his daily routine as he gets ready to head out to his job. 
If you are familiar (? why wouldn't you be), the track itself is a kind of blue collar anthem and a tribute to all the people out there doing their best to put food on the table for their fam. 
I was able to catch a bunch of footage of some people working in the city while I was with Al and managed to splice that with some clips of people kicking ass at their job (something IG seems to love to show me). 
All in all it was a fun vid to put together and there are a few hidden gems in there for the older heads out there to recognize (insert Leo DiCaprio meme here). We prob wouldn’t get away with using some of these clips if we were more popular, but that is a hidden benefit. Video is set for release Feb 7 (Friday).

I’ve been working on my video editing skills lately and will be putting another vid together for Blak Madeen for their track “River to the Sea”. We also filmed that a few weeks ago and it’s gonna be a dope vid, I can feel it already.

Me and Al recorded a banger of a track recently and we are looking to drop that asap. Hoping to get a feature from a legend from way back but can’t speak too soon on it. Will keep you posted. 

More ways to distract yourself:
Been enjoying Queen Latifah’s (new to Netflix) series The Equalizer. It’s not the Wire but it is thoroughly enjoyable. Do recommend.

Black Doves is another one to check out if you’re into international spy -type shit.
